This is a real eye-opener.
Dr Van Tulleken lays bare the devastating effects Ultra Processed Foods are having on our health and longevity, including but not limited to the obesity pandemic.
The understandings he offers open the door to greater physical, mental, economic and planetary health.
The only point he makes that I would contest is the idea that quitting processed food for a healthier diet is expensive. The wife and I have stopped processed food entirely in favour of unprocessed food and indeed in very large measure organic.
We found that the healthy diet is actually costing us less per week and saving us money.
But apart from that one point, I recommend what Chris van Tulleken has to say.
